Muzak Co. Muzak's Foundation, "Heart and Soul" is rooted in Muzak's core belief in the emotional power of music, and extending that power to the lives of today's youth.
In spite of the extremely challenging economic times, new and long-term supporters have stepped up to the plate for
"Summer in the City's" fifth year. Sherman Capital Markets LLC, a longterm supporter has once again pledged $5,000,
and new donor: Muzak's Heart & Soul Foundation has made a generous first time donation of $2,000. "Summer in the City"
also typically receives significant funding from The Yaschik Foundation and the InterTech and Zucker Family Foundations.

"Summer in the City," is a highly successful artistic residency in New York City where participants reside
at the famous Juilliard School Residence Hall. Individual courses of intensive study are designed for each participant, as well as
a variety of group workshops, classes and masterclasses with well known artists and academicians. Every year South of Broadway Theatre
Company awards from $13,500 to $20,000 in scholarships to "Summer in the City" participants.
